Essential Duties

Our Talent Acquisition Division is seeking an entry level Human Resources Analyst with a proactive and collaborative mindset. We are looking for someone who excels at establishing connections, cultivating partnerships with diverse groups, has strong critical thinking and customer service skills, and is able to manage multiple recruitments or workflows. Key Responsibilities: 

·         Provide outstanding support to hiring managers across various departments and candidates throughout the recruitment process

·         Conduct recruitment intake meetings with managers to ensure accurate and effective job postings and recruitment efforts

·         Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to identify top talent

·         Assist with onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are well-prepared and welcomed

·         Promote Henrico as a preferred employer through various marketing initiatives

·         Work collaboratively within the HR team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies or hiring events

·         Maintain and analyze statistical data to improve hiring processes and produce reports as needed

·         Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the department's objectives

·         An understanding of human resource administration principles and practices

·         Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with county officials, employees, and the public

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Work effectively within a team environment to achieve common goals and foster a supportive workplace culture

·         Possess tact, courtesy, and the ability to learn technical aspects of HR functions such as job analysis, classification, salary determination, employee selection

·         Proven ability to multitask and stay organized amidst conflicting responsibilities

Additional Information

Although we are seeking an entry level candidate, we do have the flexibility to fill at the Human Resources Analyst II level depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate and the needs of the department at the time of hire. Expected hiring range will be between $55,005- $69,537 and commensurate with experience. Entry level will be at the lower end of the listed range.

Minimum Requirements

Possession of a bachelor's degree, preferably in personnel or human resource administration, public administration or a related field, and one (1) year of professional human resources work experience related to the area of assignment; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
